About
Vesta, in all dwellings of men and immortals
Yours is the highest honor, the sweet wine offered
First and last at the feast, poured out to you duly.
Never without you can gods or mortals hold banquet.

Vesta was the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman mythology. Vesta’s presence was symbolized by the sacred flame that burned at her hearth and temples.
About the Name
In Greek mythology, Calliope (Kaliope or Kalliope) (in Greek, “beautiful-voiced”) was the muse of epic poetry, daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and is now best known as Homer’s muse, the inspiration for the Iliad and the Odyssey. She was represented by a stylus and wax tablets.

I am a Sagittarius. I was born on December 04, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland. As such, my birthstone is the blue topaz and I am 21 years old. I am 5′9, 150lbs. I have blonde hair, which I’ve dyed at various points in my life to have highlights or to appear lighter, though I’m working on growing out the roots to return to my natural color. I have blue eyes, which have white streaks in the irises.
I attended Kenwood High School, where I was in Pre-IB before switching to the AP program in 10th grade. I graduated with a GPA of 3.1 and a QPA of 4.2. I took the SAT twice. The first time I scored a 1290, with a 750 in verbal and a 540 in math, and the second time I scored a 1340, with a 730 in verbal and a 610 in math. This was before the SAT had a written section. During High School, I was a part of my school’s Destination Imagination team for all four years. My sophomore year and senior year, the team made it to the Global competition level.
For undergraduate studies I attended Saint Mary’s College of Maryland. I majored in philosophy and minored in religious studies, and graduated with a 3.38 GPA. I was a board member of the Poetry and English clubs, an active member in the Tolkien Society and Philosophy club, and served as a member of the review board for the school’s philosophy magazine, Reflections. My senior project was Illuminating Ethics via Fantasy Fiction.
I scored a 159 on the LSAT (78th percentile) and am currently enrolled in post-graduate studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where I am not yet ranked.
