Ha!
Though it’s the only thing I’ve done all weekend other than go out to dinner with a friend I haven’t seen since early January, which I justified only because she owes me money that I owe someone else, I have successfully completed my appellate brief in time to theoretically get a rational amount of sleep tonight.
I still have to do tomorrow’s reading and I should really get started on my oral argument preparation and the contract that’s due soon, to say nothing of all the outlining I should be doing… all aside from the “optional” stuff like working on my novel, keeping up to date on social obligations like working on critiques, etc.
But since this is the first time I’ve completed a major writing assignment on time this semester without having to cut class, I’m kind of excited.
